The Rogue Technology Aeronautics and Space Administration (RTASA) is a secretive group within the Polity focusing on the research and development of new technologies.
Overview[]
RTASA emphasizes aeronautics and aerospace research, but has been shown to develop certain technologies that are military applications. They participated in the creation of the gen:LOCK program alongside the Experimental Science Unit. Marc Holcroft is the RTASA's principal investor, and Fatima Jha is its lead scientist.
Known Members[]
- Marc Holcroft - Principal investor
- Fatima Jha - Science department head
- Heng Li Wu - Engineer
Trivia[]
- Elements of the RTASA were inspired by NASA.
- The RTASA logo uses the same "worm" typeface as NASA used between 1975 and 1992.
- The name draws heavily from NASA's unabridged designation, National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
- It also serves as an in-joke to Rooster Teeth: the typeface is employed in the logo for the RTX convention.
- Apart from being a NASA 'Expy'. The agency also appears to fill much the same role for the Polity as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency does for the present-day United States of America, if on somewhat of a smaller scale.
