Rooster Teeth produces a large variety of content primarily for the web. Popular animated web series produced by the company include Red vs. Blue, RWBY and Camp Camp. Other content includes live-action feature films, shorts, and series, as well as podcasts and video game Let's Plays. The company also organizes live events such as RTX, a series of annual fan conventions held in several cities around the world, and Let's Play Live, a video-game-centric live show.

On March 6th, 2024, it was announced that Rooster Teeth was closing its doors after 21 years with its intellectual properties This including gen:LOCK Red Vs Blue And RWBY (latter RWBY Purchased By VIZ Media), scheduled to be sold off to potential buyers.
